Albert Szmigielski, CEO, CTO & Co-founder
Albert was previously CTO and member of the founding team at LQwD Financial, a publicly traded company and the largest payment processor on the Bitcoin Lightning Network. Prior to LQwD, Albert was VP of Research and Engineering at CipherTrace, Inc, a data analytics co. for blockchain transactions, Head of Research & Engineering at Blockchain Intelligence Group, and co-founder and CTO of CryptoIQ, an algorithmic crypto trading company.
He holds a M.Sc. in Digital Currencies & Blockchain Technology from the University of Nicosia and a B.Sc. in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University.
Adam Yarnold, Founder & Head of Strategy
Before founding Fin3, Adam spent 19 years in regulated institutional financial services, running the U.S. distressed credit business and Global Securitized Products at Barclays. He also worked at Deutsche Bank and UBS. Post-Barclays, Adam was a Principal at Stonecutter Capital Advisors, an SEC-registered manager of two investment funds.

Adam served 3+ years in the U.S. Army’s 2nd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. He holds a B.S. in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University and an M.S. in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University.

Alan Blackburn, COO
Before joining Fin3, Alan was the Director of Operations at Professional Analysis, Inc. where he developed and oversaw financial performance, HR, benefits, policies and procedures. During his 6+ years in the Marine Corps, he attained the rank of Captain, was a Leadership Instructor at The Basic School in Quantico, and a Senior Operations Manager at 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines.

Alan holds a M.B.A. from the University of Maryland and B.A. in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University. He has been awarded both the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.
Jeff Manchester, Head of Partnerships & Business Development
Prior to joining Fin3, Jeff had his roots in the payments space where he spent over three decades on the card Issuing side at GE Capital and Network side at MasterCard, as the EVP and General Manager leading
global account teams supporting Bank of America/Merrill Lynch and Synchrony. More recently he has been working with FinTech’s and FX entities on Business Development, Marketing and Sales. He has several patents
in the US, Europe and Asia.
A graduate of Boston University’s School of Management with a Dual Major in Finance and International Management.
